As you can tell from my last post, Barack Obama was not my choice for President. But, as I also said, my duty is to support him and pray for him. So, that’s what I will do.

The reason I wasn’t for Obama was because I am a conservative and I don’t believe that Obama has a single conservative thought. I do believe that he will try to stay near the center on most things for a while. But, I also believe that after a couple of years in office his true colors will come out.

Because I am a conservative, I listen to conservative talk radio when I can. I generally like Rush Limbaugh, and I like Bill O’Reilly because I think he is a straight shooter. I believe in most of the things that Sean Hannity believes in as well. But, I absolutely cannot stand the way Hannity humiliates anyone who disagrees with him. I also do not like his transparent hatred of anyone that has a liberal thought or leaning. There are many times that you would catch me screaming at the radio while he continues to not let someone finish a sentence.

In my opinion, Sean Hannity does more to hurt the cause of conservatism than he does to help it. He, in my opinion, alienates so many people that he does more to damage conservatism that he ever could help it. I would be more than happy to discuss that with him if I thought he would sit still and listen to me. And while I am venting about Hannity, I must say that it drives me crazy to hear someone call and call him a great American and then he instantly calls them a great American just because they called him one. What the heck? If Osama Bin Laden called him a great American he would say it turn before realizing what he had even said.
