Wedding Bells and Anniversaries
Ok, I know it has been a very long time since I have posted here. Please forgive me, I’ve had a few things going on.
On July 23rd, Jill gave birth to a wonderful baby girl, Daisy Grace. She has truly added much joy to our lives.
Then, in August, the company I work for held the 2nd Quilt Show of the year in Nashville, Tennessee.
In the first part of October, my company held our 3rd Quilt Show of the year in Des Moines, Iowa. Next was my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. It was really cool to see friends and family. One of the best parts was that my parents were able to have their picture taken with the pastor that married them 50 years ago!
Then, just this past weekend, my oldest son got married in Collierville, Tennessee. I really didn’t anticipate that it would be an emotional time for me, but it really was. He is very lucky to have married such a great young lady. I wish them all the best and know that they have many great times ahead.
It is now the end of October and maybe, just maybe, I can breathe just a little bit. So, now for a very little while, we can take a second and reflect and thank God for his wonderful blessings. We truly are very blessed.
Maybe it won’t be over a year before I post again.
