Time Management

Ok, here I am in my mid to upper __’s and you would think that I would have enough experience under my belt to be able to manage my time wisely.

Well don’t believe it for a second! I’ve always heard the saying that time moves faster the older you get. Now I understand. The reason, at least for me, that time moves faster is because of all the things that I have going on at once. One of my friends tells me that I just have to say no to some things. That leads me to this question. Who do I say no to?

Should it be to God? “Well Lord, I love you and all and just because you gave me some talent in some areas doesn’t mean I’ve got time to use them for you.

Should it be to my family? NO! I’ve learned the hard way that family is the most important thing anyone has got. I don’t spend near enough time with all my family as I want to as it is.
Should it be to my job? Hey! A man’s got to eat and provide for his family, right?

So, I’ve not reached any conclusions. There are no answers.

Anyway, I’ve got it off my chest and maybe I’ll be able to slow down a little in about 20 years!
